Email-ready summaries on autopilot
Reporting delivers scheduled emails with KPIs, lead counts, geographic data, and optional Excel attachments. Configure it once and let the insights flow.
Core capabilities
Activation switch
Turn reporting on or off per bot. The toggle instantly pushes changes to the backend, so you never queue reports by accident.
Recipient management
Add as many email addresses as you need. Each one gets the same summary, and you can remove entries with a single click.
Schedule picker
Check the weekdays you would like reports delivered. A helper message confirms the upcoming cadence.
Excel attachments
Optional toggle adds the full chat history as an .xlsx attachment -- perfect for BI teams that want to dig deeper.
Unsaved-change guardrail
A subtle banner appears whenever you edit settings. Save or discard before navigating away so schedules stay accurate.
Geographic distribution
Reports include country-level data showing where your chatbot visitors come from, based on the same data shown in the Insights country map.
Website interaction tracking
Reports can include website interaction metrics that show how visitors engage with the widget on your site.
Setup in minutes
Open Analytics > Reporting. Use the selector bar to pick the bot whose reports you want to automate.
Toggle reporting On and add the recipients who should receive summaries.
Choose the weekdays you want reports sent. Daily frequency is ideal for heavy traffic; weekly works for most teams.
Flip on Include chat history (Excel) if you want the raw transcript spreadsheet attached.
Click Save. Ultimo confirms the schedule and highlights when the next report will be delivered.
Helpful habits
- Keep the recipient list short and route messages through an internal shared mailbox for compliance.
- Pair reporting with the Insights tab -- stakeholders can read the emailed summary while you dive into the live dashboard.
- If you change time zones, adjust your workspace default so timestamps in the email match local business hours.
- Use the Excel attachment for weekend reviews; it saves you from pulling manual exports each Monday.
